Corporate structure of Goldbach
The foundation of today’s Advertising marketer Goldbach was laid in 1983 with the founding of IP Multimedia, a company that initially operated its own Radio and TV stations such as Hitradio Z (later Energy Zürich). With the rise of private TV in the late 1980s, Goldbach seized the opportunity and introduced the first Swiss Advertising windows on foreign channels such as RTL in 1993.
Through mergers, acquisitions and the sale of Advertising inventory in the DACH region, Goldbach continued to develop. Previous engagements in the media and content sector – for example at Radio Energy or TV projects – were abandoned over the years in order to concentrate fully on Advertising marketing.
A milestone was the sale to Tamedia in 2018 (today: TX Group). With the later acquisitions of Neo Advertising and Clear Channel Switzerland, Goldbach also grew in the area of Out-of-Home Advertising.
Over time, Goldbach has developed into one of the most important marketers in Switzerland and today operates in the areas of TV (Goldbach Media), Online (Goldbach Audience/Splicky), Audio (Swiss Radioworld) and Out-of-Home Advertising (Goldbach Neo).
